If a business license is required this system may be atteached at the point of purchase. This module is called the "Business License Machine." It assures 100% accountability of all businesses within the community.
The Business License machine provides everything you need as a county or municipality to convert the license revenue stream into a source for economic development. A small portion of the collected fee pays for the automation needed to place the entire county online to improve commerce and sales tax revenue.
As the business license is processed and then approved, the system will automatically and electronically invite the license holder into the economic development program. From here business owners receive instructions on how to promote their business throughout the community and the nation. Each participating business qualifies for FREE USA based support so they can get the most from their business license investment.

Company History
We pride ourselves on our ability to turn big technology into easy to operate solutions. Our systems are designed for economic development managers, Chamber of Commerce executives, and their participating business members.
We launched research and development in 2005 after our founder, Richard Scully, had heard Paul MacBeth on the radio. MacBeth was the Quincy Chamber of Commerce executive director at that time. He was a guest on KNLF radio with Ron Trumbo discussing projects that the Chamber was working on within the local community. Richard was truly impressed by what he heard, but being a former software process development executive, he was curious as to how a Chamber with such a small budget could accomplish so much with so little.
During the radio show Paul also spoke about programs they wanted to develop and how they needed to create a cost effective online advertising plan for businesses. After the radio interview, Richard contacted Paul MacBeth at the Quincy Chamber of Commerce and determined that Chambers of Commerce needed a new system to manage the various operations associated with running and growing a Chamber.
Richard began contacting various Chambers around the country to find out how they managed on so little revenue. He found that most had nothing in place to help them automate or what they did have could only manage the member records. There were no systems in place to truly develop a Chamber of Commerce, to grow membership, to manage projects and committees or significantly automate the process of placing an entire community online. There was little to address the issue of marketing.
This was the determining factor that led Richard develop this program.
Richard Scully had a successful software development background. He was the former CEO of a San Francisco-area based technology company and spent many years specifically in infra-structure automation. Based on his vast experience, Richard began building a software proto-type for Chambers of Commerce.
Richard relied heavily on input from Chamber executives and applied his past technology and usability knowledge in establishing his successful enterprise. Educating the business community in the value of chamber membership was an extension of his effort.
With a very early version of the software in place, Richard obtained commitments from several Chambers to utilize the early program. Richard received calls almost daily from users with suggestions. He continued to build and adjust this early software and to study the results. He was confident that at some point it would have to be re-tooled by a formal engineering team to support the rapid growth to tens-of-thousands of businesses, while incorporating the latest technology for security management.
After a considerable investment by one of the Chamber of Commerce executives, "E Chamber Town USA" was launched. This morphed into EcTownUSA.
EcTownUSA, LLC. remains as the holding company and provider of services, but in 2008 the company re-launched its services for Chambers of Commerce under Chamber Nation. For areas that do not have a participating Chamber of Commerce, it operates under the branding of Economic Development Program.
Currently Chamber Nation support Chambers in over 30 states with thousands of users.
